Events at Street Farm
Sat, 1st August 2020 - Street Farm Update - August 2020
Many of our Service Users have turned to nature during lockdown, as a source of therapeutic activity. Here we combine both Nature and Arts & Crafts by creating a wildflower pressed book:
Here we have a couple of our ladies enjoying a walk around Blagdon Lake:
Whilst various placements are closed, we have done our best to ensure the ladies continue to engage in their active lifestyles. Luckily the weather has also been on our side for some very scenic walks!:
We have made the most of centres that are gradually starting to re-open. Trampolining is both fun and a great way to keep fit:
Making Pasta from scratch is harder than it looks! However, we think these ladies smash it out of the park. The pasta made here became part of a very tasty Bolognese to be shared by everyone:

Mon, 1st June 2020 - Street Farm Update - June 2020
Some of our Service Users went camping at Kelly’s Farm in Devon.
This is one of Bradbury House’s new sites, which at the moment has no occupants other than a herd of deer.
As the site is unoccupied, Street Farm Service Users and Staff staff were able to make use of this private area and live it up:
Amongst the many things the Ladies got up to whilst camping was building a camp fire & toasting marshmallows.
Whilst the ladies were camping, a scavenger hunt was suggested:
Getting out and about in the beautiful countryside has been a real bonus during these unprecedented times.
The Ladies went for a walk along the old Strawberry Railway line.
Strawberries were transported from local fields directly into London and the markets by train:
As you may know Glastonbury festival had to be cancelled this year.
One of our Service Users has been going for several years and had been disappointed that it was cancelled.
Never fear, Street Farm staff are always here to make things better!:
