Events at The Farm
Mon, 1st June 2020 - The Courtyard Update - June 2020
The Courtyard Service Users enjoyed a fantastic curry and games night on a warm June evening at the Courtyard. A Chicken Korma was prepared for the Service Users with naan bread, poppadums’ and a selection of dips and chutneys.
After everyone had eaten their fill, the Service Users played a competitive game of indoor skittles.
The Service Users were delighted that live football has returned on TV. There are a selection of different teams supported in the house – ranging from Exeter City, Ipswich Town, Bristol City and Manchester United. The Service Users have all enjoyed watching the games on TV.

As we have had some nice weather, our Service Users asked for a BBQ, and we all had an enjoyable afternoon at the Courtyard. True to our wonderful British weather it started to rain, but not for long.

These have been strange times for everyone with the Covid-19 outbreak, especially the Service Users - with new terms coming into everyday use such as "social distancing". However everyone has been coping well with the lockdown restrictions placed upon us by the government.
The Service Users at the Courtyard enjoyed a karaoke evening and all sang their hearts out:

Some of our Service Users have been making the most of the better weather during this lockdown period to explore the Farm and check on all the animals.
We are very fortunate to have such lovely open space on our doorstep and we are all trying our best to make the best of a very unique situation.

Sun, 1st March 2020 - Meadowlands Update - March 2020
Meadowlands celebrated not one but two birthday parties in March, and all Service Users enjoyed the party food and music. One Service User was particularly happy with their present which was a new Liverpool top:
Like the rest of the country, Service Users at Meadowlands have had to adjust to a different routine in recent weeks. This hasn’t stopped them from having fun and making the most of the surroundings as well as the beautiful weather. Service Users have been on walks around the Farm and have been utilising the Computer Suite on the Farm to connect with family members via Skype/Facetime, and have been accessing the Internet:
Service Users even had a go at brightening up the pathway with a lovely piece of chalk drawn art.:
Sun, 2nd February 2020 - Meadowlands Update - February 2020
Some of the Service Users enjoyed a trip to Bristol to see the sights and have some food at ZaZa Bazaar. It was enjoyed by all who went and loved having their pictures taken in front of the Ferris wheel:
Another Service User has been enjoying working on their puzzles from Christmas and have already completed two! 1000 piece puzzles since the new year. Great Work:
Some of the Service Users wanted to help clean the house vehicles following all the muddy and wet weather, so we made it into a fun activity for all involved, and made sure the cars were super clean and tidy ready for the next lot of activities:
