Our Service Users enjoyed a great couple of days when the snow fell!
Arts and Crafts
Our Service Users have been getting arty with some of the new equipment at The Old Rectory.

Chinese New Year
We celebrated Chinese New Year by decorating the house and serving Chinese food!
A number of our Service Users enjoyed watching Nutty Noah!

Thu, 1st November 2018 - The Old Rectory Update - November 2018
On Tuesday 6th November a number of our Service Users went to the Farm to watch the Fireworks Display.
One Service User helped with the car parking – he said “I got wet!!”
Two other Service Users enjoyed watching – we asked if they had enjoyed the display – one said: “very good!” and the other said “good!”
Service User Tea Party
On Thursday November 22nd one of our Service Users spent the afternoon baking with Angie and produced a wonderful tea party! He decorated the dining room with bunting on the walls and flowers on the tables, and put on a lovely spread including some freshly baked scones! Many of our Service Users (and staff!) joined him for his tea party.
One of our Service Users went to the wrestling on the 11th – he told us it was “very good! I like going to it – I want to go again!”
Jamaican Day on December 6th.
Service users speaking about the Tea Party:
“It was good last night! I helped Angie cooking and helped setting up. My favourite bit was taking pictures!”
My favourite bit was the scones!”
We asked one Service User what he liked and he said “Scones!”
We asked another Service User what he thought of the tea party and he said “pretty good! I thought it was all very good!”
Jenn says she is really pleased with one Service User's access and progress at the farm!
Ian says “it’s been great getting to know the Service Users and Staff in my first few weeks here! What a great group we have here at The Old Rectory!”
One of our Service Users used his clippers to cut his own hair – please see photos – he managed this with Staff support and was very pleased with himself indeed!
One of our Service Users went to a gig on Saturday and said “It was wicked”!
