Session Information:

The walking group session allows service users to engage in activities that explore the local area and investigate the wealth of flora and fauna, both on the farm site and in the surrounding countryside.

Activities have included exploring the Mendip Hills' footpaths and walks, the construction of a badger hide, exploring the Avalon Marshes and Wetlands, visiting Brean Down, Cheddar Gorge and West Sedgmoor, exploring seashore rock pools and habitats, probing the farm ponds for aquatic flora and fauna as well as watching and recording various bird species.

Due to the nature of the group, service users need to have good levels of mobility and fitness.
