The Old Rectory
The Old Rectory is a development of ten high quality apartment style rooms registered with The Care Quality Commission (CQC). They provide specialist support for a mixed group of adults with learning disabilities & autism who may have a dual diagnosis, associated social & communication difficulties and behaviours that challenge.
This service provides long-term, specialised, person-centred packages of support with the emphasis being on customers fulfilling their potential through the development of vocational and life skills.
The property is grade II listed, detached and is located in the rural village of Chewton Mendip, approximately five miles from the market city of Wells. There are a wealth of community facilities close by such as the local village shop, the local pub, farm shops and fantastic walking trails. The service also has easy access into Bristol City Centre and the surrounding countryside with a local bus route stopping outside the home.
The home has a two communal kitchens, dining area, extensive lounge area and sizable gardens. The home features a Jacuzzi bath for service users to unwind and relax plus a games room with pool table, table football, ping pong and creative area for social and recreational activities.
Service users living at The Old Rectory also have the opportunity to attend the day-service provision provided at our farm to further development their skills and interests.
